Master of Science in Engineering
Overview
With the exception of the Master of Science (Agricultural Engineering), which is offered from the Pietermaritzburg Campus, all other specialisations are offered from the Howard College Campus. The Master of Science in Engineering prepares independent researchers in the different disciplines of engineering who can contribute to the generation of knowledge at an advanced level by conducting original research that addresses complex context-based issues, under the guidance of the research supervisor. The research project will culminate in the production of a research report in the form of a dissertation in the traditional format or by publication.
