Prof Dillip Kumar Das is a Civil Engineer and Planner with expertise In Urban and Transportation Engineering and Planning. He is adept in Applied System Analysis. He holds a PhD degree in Urban and Regional planning and has Civil Engineering and City Planning background. Prof Das is a well proficient teacher with over 19 years’ experience in the field.  

He has published more than 130 research publications articles that includes peer reviewed journal articles, books, book chapters and articles in conference proceedings. He was a recipient of a number of Teaching and Research awards in his previous university.
