Dr. Tefera completed his first and second degrees at Ethiopian universities. He got his PhD at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He was a postdoc research fellow in the discipline of mechanical engineering from 2019 to 2023. He and his supervisors published their research output in different journals. He taught different mechanical engineering modules at Ethiopian universities and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
