Biography

Dr. Kassahun Tadesse holds a Ph.D. in Irrigation Engineering (Haramaya University), an MSc in Land Resources Management (Mekelle University), and a BSc in Agricultural Engineering and Mechanization (Hawassa University). With over 20 years of professional experience, he has worked as an Agricultural Engineering Instructor (Mechanization Trainer) in the Ministry of Agriculture, and as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at Debre Markos University, Ethiopia. He has supervised and graduated 12 MSc students in Hydraulic Engineering, Integrated Watershed Management, and Environmental Science. Dr. Tadesse was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Johannesburg and, since March 2025, serves as a Senior Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
