Ms Mugodo is a PhD candidate (Agricultural Engineering) and a Lecturer under the new Generation of Academics Programme at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She has an Msc Eng in Agricultural Engineering and has over six years of experience as a researcher in the field and one year experience in academia. As a researcher, Ms Mugodo, was broadly involved in the implementation of appropriate technology within value chains and continues to do so long term. She is a member of the South Africa Institute of Agricultural Engineers (SAIAE), Young African Researchers in Agriculture (YARA) and Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a candidate engineer.
